Werner Heisenberg was a German physicist. He described atoms by means of formula connected to the frequencies of spectral lines. He proposed Principle of Indeterminacy - you can not know both the position and velocity of a particle. He published the uncertainty principle, which he is best known for, and built his philosophy off of that.
He created the uncertainty principal- It didn’t fit with the world and their views. It went against the idea of the clock-work idea. You start questioning “Is God in control?’

- If no: Don’t need God-- irrelevant (science is taking it this way today)
- If yes:
- New Age: God is in everything (Pantheism) If you know yourself, then you know God because God is in us so then we are God. To know God, you need to know yourself.
- Reform: Providence guides. Even of chaos. There is even organization in something that looks chaotic.
